Story #1: I can summarize two miracles he often
shares about his trips with Power Ministries: Every
year, the guys do a carnival and have games and
prizes … music, popcorn and goodies for the kids in
Reynosa. One year, the weather forecast said heavy
rain. The guys prepared for the carnival as usual. Kids
showed up in droves!
Chuck and the other POWER guys looked all around
the sky and they saw rain falling on all sides of the
carnival…but not a drop where the carnival was taking
place! Miracle!!! Chuck shared that the men had been
praying all week that God would alter the weather
pattern. He didn’t…except for the property where the
carnival was taking place. It was raining cats and dogs
just beyond the carnival borders for three and a half
hours!
The property stayed dry until the carnival was over and
everything was packed up and put away. The rain
came. MIRACLE!
Story #2: Another time was when Chuck was part of
what was called a “joy tour”, where the guys would
pass out bags of rice and beans to needy families. So
many people were lined up to receive the bags with
both rice and beans. The men counted people and
bags and decided to separate the bags of rice and
bags of beans so that everyone would get one or the
other.
As it turned out, everyone in the line got rice, then lined
back up to go through again … everyone made it
through the line a second time and got beans too!
There were bags of rice and beans to spare. He said it
was like the “fishes and the loaves” all over again!
